We often see the following message when we try to run a game by double clicking on its .exe icon.
'.......exe has stopped working'
This happens mostly when you try to run program that is not compatible with the version of windows you are using. You try to change the compatibility and everything but nothing happens.
Here is the solution that never fails-
1-Right click on your desktop icon of 'my computer'(or 'computer' or 'this pc' or whatever you named it.) and go to 'properties'.
2-Go to 'advanced system settings' .
3- click on the 'settings' in 'performance' window.
4-Go to 'data execution prevention' tab. Here you will see two options. Check the following option-
'Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those i select. Now, you may see the 'add' option will be open.
5-Click on 'add' option and add the exe of the program which was showing error.
yippi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!the program is running now.....
